As long as I can remember, I have been drawing, painting or creating something.

Through the years of working in the decorating field I have used my God-given talents in many ways.  I have done floral design and managed a fabric store that not only sold decorative fabrics but made custom window treatments and furniture as well. I have also done kitchen and window treatment design and sales.

I always dreamed of making a business selling my art that I continued to do in my spare time.

One of the first things I did was have a website created with the name of Laurie's Art Room, which showcased my art work.  When I wanted to start the business in 2003 I decided to incorporate all of the things I had been doing and make it into one decorating business.

I started with a few clients creating custom draperies and bedding to match and offering decorative painting services as well.  My work with clients often leads to consultations on many things such as types of furniture or paint colors for walls.  I also continue to draw and paint such things as drawings of homes or custom paintings to match your decor.

I enjoy the diversity of my work; designing custom window treatments, hanging wallpaper, and bringing visions of your favorite things to life in a mural on your walls.  It is important to me to help you make your home comfortable and filled with personal touches that mean the most to you.
